My "be Sonia all the time you want" season is still going on. Tonight, wednesday, will be my first time going to the X-dress dinner. They have dinners two Wednesdays every month. Lady Kona, Zia and Mz. Adrien have been to the GNO a couple of times. Mz. Adrien is one of the big drag personalities here in Vancouver. Brina came over to my place to get ready together. She borrowed one of my red wigs for this night.
Two days before got a few new pieces of clothing from Suzy Shier, which are a knitted sweater and a long skirt which you can see in the pictures. Also, I finally got a hat. Here in Vancouver, during the winter months some girls (real girls) like to use hats, and I've always loved the look. So given that this was a cold night, it was the perfect opportunity to wear it.
So, we got ready and drove to the dinner location in the West End. All of the girls were already there just waiting for us ! So we started having dinner right away, Christmas dinner. I met a few people I have never met before and the whole night was just awesome. It was very nice to have a house Christmas party as a girl. Even though we've had the Christmas GNOs before, this was different because it was in a more intimate setting. I had a very good time. We finally headed back home, and Brina got undressed there. This was going to be the last time I saw her before the new year.
